About this release
Reflection AI's first open-weight model, a text-only sparse Mixture-of-Experts with 501 billion total parameters (23 billion active) pretrained on 23.8 trillion tokens and further trained with large-scale reinforcement learning. It targets coding, multi-step reasoning and agentic tasks with a 1M-token context window, positioned as competitive with larger open models like GLM-5.2 at significantly lower inference compute. Weights under Apache 2.0, technical report and tooling scheduled for later in October 2026; currently in final red-teaming with early access via waitlist.
