YuE2 is a 3.6B-parameter open-weights music model that unifies symbolic planning and audio generation. It first autoregressively writes a human-readable ABC score (melody, chords, structure) from lyrics and style prompts, then uses flow matching to produce 48 kHz stereo audio with vocals and accompaniment. Supports zero-shot covers via transcription and agentic score editing. Released by Multimodal Art Projection with HKUST and partners under CC BY-NC 4.0 weights on Hugging Face and GitHub.
