Description

A massive architectural recreation of Tokyo featuring 2,797 cars and high-density urban detail. The project demonstrates the transition from shell generation using LLMs to detailed interior engineering of vehicle components down to the screws using world models.

Details

Why this is interesting: Impressive scale and speed (3h 23m for 1km of city) combined with the use of a world model for engineering-level detail.

You have full access to Blender and any other tool on this PC. You're the world's best Blender artist. Go all out.

Build a 1:1 replica of the real Tokyo within a 1 km radius of Tokyo Tower, with the tower at the centre, during cherry blossom season in full bloom. It must be the actual city around the tower, not a generic one: use real map data (OpenStreetMap building footprints, roads, rail, parks and trees, plus elevation and building-height data where available) so the streets, blocks, landmarks and parks sit where they really are. Line the parks and streets with sakura trees and gardens in full bloom.

Quality bar: high-detail assets, realistic materials and lighting, a 1080p final render.

Deliverable: a b-roll film of the city with several cinematic camera shots moving through and around this section of the city. It opens at night (city lights, lit tower) and transitions smoothly into day. Add soft music.

Keep Blender open the whole time and work in the open window so I can watch what you're building live.

When it's done, render the final video, open it for me, and tell me the file path.
