Sketch a Sunset over a Mountain Lake

A beautiful mountain landscape drawn stroke-by-stroke entirely via generated code

Description

A complex procedural animation created entirely with code, simulating a hand-drawn artistic process without any pre-rendered assets. It transitions from a light graphite construction sketch to detailed colored pencil layering to depict a sunset over a mountain lake, featuring snowy peaks, pine trees, and a wooden cabin.

Prompt

Draw a beautiful sunset landscape by hand, stroke by stroke, entirely in code. A calm mountain lake at sunset: snowy peaks catching the last warm light, pine trees along the shore, a small wooden cabin, a jetty with a rowboat, the sun low between two mountains with its reflection shimmering across the water, a few birds in the sky.

Work like a real artist with a visible pencil: light construction sketch, graphite detail and shading, then colour it in with coloured pencils layer by layer, then blend and add highlights. Things only appear where the pencil touches, nothing fades in. 3 minutes long.

No images, no libraries, no assets. No time limit. Keep improving until you’d be proud to show it publicly.
