GitHub PR Image Modal Extension

A Chrome extension that opens GitHub PR images in a modal instead of a new tab.

Description

A utility built in 90 seconds to fix a common GitHub UI frustration. The extension intercepts image clicks in pull requests, displaying them in a native modal dialog with a dark backdrop instead of forcing the raw image to open in a new browser tab. It supports closing the modal by clicking the backdrop or pressing the Escape key.

Prompt

Make a simple Chrome extension that changes the behavior when I click on an image in a pull request on github instead of opening it in another tab with the raw image file, I want it to open as a modal. Clicking outside of the modal should close the popup.
