GitHub PR Image Modal Extension

A Chrome extension that opens GitHub PR images in a modal instead of a new tab

Description

A browser utility built in approximately 90 seconds that intercepts clicks on GitHub pull request images, displaying them in a native <dialog> modal with an 85% black backdrop. The extension consists of a manifest, content script, and styles, created to eliminate the annoyance of images opening in separate browser tabs.

Prompt

Make a simple Chrome extension that changes the behavior when I click on an image in a pull request on github instead of opening it in another tab with the raw image file, I want it to open as a modal. Clicking outside of the modal should close the popup.
